I bought the book only to find it was not what I hoped. It will be great once the babies (twins) arrive but I was looking for more a journal that I could write to them in before the birth. I basically just found a plain journal and write to them each day. I had wanted something to chart grownth of my stomach, daily changes in me, food cravings, dr. appts, etc. Again ….this book is nice but is to be used after the birth.

I bought this for a friend as a baby shower book. She is a single mother and could not find a book local that did not have all of the ‘this is how mommy and daddy met stuff’. This book is PERFECT! It does not mention any relative except Mommy and the baby, there are areas to add the info, but if there is someone missing, and the family is not nuclear this is the perfect solution!

I was so happy when I received this book. I am now the single parent of my gorgeous daughter and her father is not involved with anything. This book was great for me to record her milestones and memories without having to have the blank pages like many other books have that involve the father and family trees etc. This has no reference to gender either so it would work for either parent. It was a great purchase for me as I want to record everything. There are plenty of pages for pictures and other momentos and there are also journaling pages and just lots of pages for you to write everything. It was wonderful.

This book did a fabulous job capturing everything that I wanted to document about my baby’s first year. Everyone loves paging through this book of my dauhgters, and they are amazed at the contents that it holds. It is so easy to keep up with and makes for a very special gift to give to my daughter as she becomes an adult! Kudos to Tracey Clark for making two especially fabulous books for capturing Motherhood and all that it entails!
Only thing that I would love to see different is that she would create a first 5 or even ten years of a childs life, I wasn’t ready to stop documenting my daughters life at one year!
