My 9 month old son had been pulling up and cruising along the couch for some time & we thought he’d be thrilled with a toy he could push and walk with. When this cart arrived, I could barely get it together fast enough, he was so excited with it visually! The crocodiles are adorable, they don’t clack loudly at all. The cart is designed so it won’t tip backwards very easily, so my son can pull up on it to walk. He gets just the right speed for his age on our carpet, not too fast. Very bright and such a nice alternative to the plastic junk you see. Something you’d want to hold onto for awhile. And the price is great at . here on amazon.

We bought this for my daughter’s first birthday and she loved it during the first week she played with it. However, wooden slivers from the plywood side panel began flaking and breaking off almost immediately. Each broken piece is about an inch long and incredibly dangerous. We have taken it away from her and will be returning it as soon as I have time. What a shame. I previously loved Melissa & Doug products.

I was happy with this until the top bar came loose just a few days after we bought it! My 20 month old fell forward and landed with his neck on one of the vertical parts. It was terrible, and all because their glue didn’t hold. If you buy this, please screw the top bar in place so this doesn’t happen to you. This is not the only Melissa and Doug toy we have had glue issues with. Not recommended.
